Society of Thoracic Surgery

From the statute of the Italian Society of Thoracic Surgery (October 19th 2001)

Art 1: the Italian Society of Thoracic Surgery is a no-profit organization of social utility.

Art 2: the association has been made as no-profit, non-political and non-confessional; the association aim is to pursue a finality of general interest and social utility in the field of instruction and formation through studies promotion and scientific research in the thoracic surgery area, in the thoracic surgeon training, in the health area planning, and in the quality control of the thoracic diseases.
